Tony Kenny is an icon in the world of Irish music, having added three of the Irish music industry's most prestigious awards to his resume: the Performing Artists Trust Society Annual Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Performing Arts,Entertainer of the Year and Irelands Industry Music Hall of Fame Award, received in October of 2008. As a recording artist, Tony has achieved phenomenal success. His fourteen recordings have been enjoyed on both sides of the Atlantic.
His release of "The Very Best of Tony Kenny's Ireland" achieved Platinum Disc status.
Tony's latest CD, "The Collection." was received very well on the recent tour. The mix of contemporary, and irish music will definately make it another hit for Tony's collection.
The release of "Tony Kenny Live in Branson" DVD was received so well, that Tony was booked for an encore engagement in Branson, MO in the fall of 2005. Tony Kenny takes his show on the road every year, touring the United States in the fall and spring. Along with a carefully selected cast of all-star performers, he entertains American audiences in their home cities, stopping at major concert halls along the way. Tony's powerfully expressive delivery and his dynamic stage presence, creates magic at his live performances. Tony Kenny's Ireland and Tony Kenny's Celtic Nights are marked by laughter, tears, and thunderous applause.
The Reception Hall at the auditorium exudes its original beauty. A return to the early twentieth century immediately overtakes you as you enter the newly renovated hall. A perfect setting for reunions, receptions, and civic meetings, as well as intimate recitals and performances, awaits you in this magnificent addition to our venue.
Located on the main floor of the historic circa 1903 building, the hall accommodates up to 100 people. It offers a food preparation area, two serving counters, and has audio/visual capabilities.
