ROUTE 66 is revved up entertainment filled with your favorite music and lots of laughs. With music styles from the Beach Boys to country, the clever theme of a journey down Route 66 all combine to produce a winner!
The show begins in Chicago and travels along the famed "Main Street of America" to the coast of California. You'll hear hits such as Willie Nelson's "On The Road Again", Roger Miller's "King of the Road", along with "The Little Old Lady From Pasadena", "Dead Man's Curve", "GTO", "Hot Rod Queen", Every Woman I Know", I Get Around", and dozens of other favorites.

Ralph Edmond Stanley was born, grew up, and lives today in rural southwestern Virginia, "in a little town called McClure at a place called Big Spraddle, just up the holler" from where he moved in 1936 and has lived ever since in Dickenson County.

He learned to play the banjo, claw-hammer style, from his mother. "She had 11 brothers and sisters, and all of them could play the five-string banjo. She played gatherings around the neighborhood, like bean stringin's. She tuned it up for me and played this tune, 'Shout Little Luly,' and I tried to play it like she did. But I think I developed my own style of the banjo."

Stanley's work was featured in the 2000 film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, in which he sings the Appalachian dirge "O Death", and the 1955 Mercury session recording of "Angel Band."


Known in the world of bluegrass music by the popular title, "Dr. Ralph Stanley" (after being awarded an honorary Doctorate of Music from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee in 1976), Stanley was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor in 1992 and in 2000, and became the first person to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in the third millennium.

This exciting group from Ireland will dazzle us with a wide variety of Traditional Irish Music. They are a high energy group and they work and play hard on the stage. They will be in Homer, NY the night before the Walhalla show and they will be taping a PBS special that night. Remember the days when you could turn on the radio and a song would play that would touch your heart like "Make The World Go Away" "For The Good Times and who could forget the smooth velvety voice of Gentleman Jim Reeves and the Golden Throat Marty Robbins.

Well you can once more. Joseph Greco recreates his Pigeon Forge Tennessee show with some added surprises. You'll be touched and moved as you experience tributes to Marty Robbins, Jim Reeves, Faron Young and many other legends with familiar classic songs from the past like El Paso" He'll Have To Go" "Hello Walls" and "travelin Man" when he takes you for "A Trip Down Memory Lane".

Raggedy Ann and Andy have been beloved by children for many
decades. In this version of the classic, retold for children of all ages,
Raggedy Ann and Andy, along with the other dolls in the nursery, come
to life with humor and spirit.
When the newest doll in the playroom, Babette is snatched, the yarnhaired
siblings take off in pursuit. Having gathered up a worn toy camel
and going up against a grouchy Greedy Bag, the button-eyed band takes
a side trip to Looney Land, where much zaniness ensues.
Sweet and nostalgic, Raggedy Ann and Andy is a good show with engaging characters
and wry humor. The jokes will keep the little ones laughing and will keep it fun for the
adult audience as well. You might even engage in a little audience participation and hear
a few songs along the way through this timeless adventure!

Each Spring, The Gathering will feature live performances including the Art of Storytelling, demonstrations of the region's history and influences thereof, depictions of significant cultural events, re-enactments of the struggle of life through the course of time. Celebrations of the music, dance and other art forms as they blended with one another to create what this region has become. The Gathering will begin as a limited weekend event and over the next four years develop into a week long celebration

Formed in 1998 by brothers McCray and Eric Dove, the Dove Brothers Quartet have quickly become a household name in Southern Gospel music with their unique throwback style and current Southern Gospel sound.
The group is best known for their hit songs "Didn't It Rain", "Get Away Jordan", "Just Another Hill", the number 1 hit "You Don't Know God's Love" and their biggest #1 hit to date "I Can Pray".

Although Charlie Brown never performed as an original Coaster, he has truly become a Coaster in his heart and in the hearts of his fans. The story of the Coasters is told by Charlie Brown during the show while performing a string of the numerous smash hits by the original Coasters such as Smoky Jo's Café, Young Blood, Searchin, and many, many others.

This wonderful show consists of more than hits from The Coasters. Charlie Brown adds a touch of comedy and an array of songs from the 50's to today. It's a show filled with variety and excitement.

Actor and comedian Michael Winslow, a master of vocal gymnastics, is known worldwide for his wacky role as Officer Larvelle Jones in the "Police Academy" film series. He has Appeared in numerous feature films including, "Cheech And Chong's Next Movie and Nice Dreams", Mel Brooks' "Spaceballs", and Michael was the voice of Stripe in the hit movie "Gremlins". Michael's latest movie release was "National Lampoon's Robo Doc", which premeired in 2008 and was just released on DVD.

Whether he is recreating the frenzy of Jimmy Hendrix playing the guitar, or the roar of a jet plane, his talent is truly remarkable and his versatility admirable and enjoyable for all ages!

These four lads, all in their early to mid-twenties, have carefully and skillfully recreated the Beatles experience by not only performing all the great songs of the original four, but also by sporting the same suits, boots, mop-tops, musical instruments, and gear. The Return make it possible for music fans from every generation to experience the same thrilling rush felt by fans who were fortunate enough to attend an actual Beatles concert in the early sixties.
